Just to show you I still love you and haven’t forgotten you, I want to share some of the articles that I have written recently and you will see why my blogging has lagged. I have been working at, well, working. Trying to make a living. So far, I am happy with my work, but it doesn’t pay very well at all.I’m advised I have to build a reputation before I can expect higher-dollar gigs. I am in the process of registering at E-lance, and if you know of other places to find freelance writing work, I’d appreciate a tip. I am looking for other publishers who will respect my work enough to at least give me a byline so I can build my business as I help them to build theirs. These two publications below have been kind enough to allow me to write as myself, and so I am totally free to share the work as my own. Others want to retain the copyright for a true pittance. I never resell my work, that isn’t my issue, every piece is original – but I want to be free to share it.
Here are the links to the articles. There will be more articles to come on each of the the author pages as time moves along – I have another order today and turned one in yesterday that isn’t published yet, but the 9 below are what I can share today.
On Loving our beautiful aging bodies – Can a naked aging body be beautiful just the way it is? Can we take both pleasure and pride in the bodies that will carry us through the rest of our lives – just the way they are today? Can we look in the mirror after a shower and smile at our naked sassy selves, daring to be aging? Can we still undress in front of our beloved and not be shy? If your answers are not full-throated “yes,” help is on the way!
Is Autoimmune Disease Another Women’s Health Issue? – When my son pointed at me as the culprit in his autoimmune disease, he was presenting a fairly new understanding that autoimmunity was itself a field of study and an underlying CAUSE of disease, just as bacteria, viruses and parasites have been shown to be.
Try A Healing Laughter Workout – The thing is, just when I probably need laughter the most, I feel like laughing the least. If I am in physical or emotional pain, all I want to do is to curl up in a ball and be left alone. There is now a solution. (Laughter Yoga as a workout)
Why You Need A Good Stress Management Plan To Lose Weight Naturally – Stress is chronic and endemic in our lives today, and when the stress hormone cortisol is more than an occasional visitor, it directly affects our blood glucose levels, our hunger and appetites and the storage of fat deep in the abdomen. The net result is that the very cortisol that’s causing the harm increases, and, especially because of the blood glucose cycle, makes weight loss more difficult. And so, to lose weight, we’d best learn to manage stress.
Escaping the Prison of Fibromyalgia – Today, at 72, many symptoms are in remission. I see my chiropractor weekly. He said that gluten might be the hidden cause of many autoimmune diseases, including Fibromyalgia, so I gave up gluten. He suggested following an anti-inflammatory vegetarian diet, and I as long as I do, I am “on parole,” or conditionally out of prison.
Fibromyalgia: 6 Tips To Make It Through Those Sleepless Nights– I have to distract my mind from its rumination about whatever it is, because it sends little signals to my body telling it that it’s urgent to solve this NOW. Of course there is nothing I can possibly do NOW…and not sleeping is robbing me of whatever energy I would have to do something tomorrow. Here are some things that work for me.
Daisies and Darkness : A journey through major depression, anxiety and mood instability disorders. My life. My journey. My fight. Fighting against stigma of mental illness, your story matters, your life matters and you are more than an overcomer.
