How Important is It?

tulips.sunlight.ROSES and FlowerS make me HAPPY.n.jpg When you find yourself upset and distracted, when you find yourself in a nasty argument with someone you love, when your anxiety is high over something outside your control (other people and events), then “How important is it?” is a great emergency tool to keep in your Happiness Toolbox. Really, important compared to what?  Let go of the specific outer cause of your distress and focus on calming yourself, because for those of us with mood disorders, what can be more important than being in charge of our emotions? It is only when we are centered and calm that we can make smart decisions about whatever it is.
